Roll Result
3 Each use causes a small cumulative change in the user's body or mind. Roll against HT+4 (or IQ+4) once per use. On fail, the user gains -1 point towards a physical or mental disadvantage of the GM's choice.
4 Each use inflicts 1d injury on the user (ignoring DR)
5 Each use causes 1 point of injury on the operator (ignoring DR)
6 The gadget transforms someone within 10 yards into an: alien, plant, animal, etc.) for 10 seconds.
7 The device makes an incredibly annoying high pitched noise when used. Everyone within 20 yards gains a headache for 10 minutes (Irritating Conditions, Pain, Minor for 10 minutes, and Severe for 20 minutes).

14 Using it renders the operator unconscious for 1d minutes.
15 Each use attracts demons, ghosts, or punches holes into random dimensions from which strange creatures appear
16 It inflicts 1 point of injury (ignoring DR) per use on everyone within 10 yards.
17 Each use opens a gate into a random dimension for 1 second. The user must make a DEX roll to avoid falling into the hole before it closes.
18 Roll for a different random side effect each time the device is used. If this result comes up again roll for 2 side effects.
