Beacon

Beacon

Area
“Softens up” local space-time, making the area of effect easy to teleport, or planeshift to. The energy cost and skill penalties to travel to a beacon are halved (round down). A beacon may also be used to help teleport a subject from its vicinity toward the caster.
A beacon is not private; any caster magically transporting himself (or someone else) to the area will benefit from the spell (however, permanently enchanted areas may be Limited or Named; see (Limiting) Enchantment Spells).
The caster must, at casting, specify which travel spells his beacon assists.
There is no extra cost to create a multi-purpose beacon.
