This content is based on GURPS, but is not strictly GURPS rules.

Beast Summoning was changed into a true summoning spell.

Special
Summons one beast of a named type (anything under IQ 6). Range does not matter for this spell.
The summoned beast is not under the caster’s control, but must remain for one hour unless it is dismissed or destroys the caster. Note that a dismissal does not guarantee the beast will leave. If it is hostile, or simply curious, it may choose to stay!
The caster may request a service, attempt to command it, etc. The beast immediately makes a reaction roll to see how it feels about the wizard. On a good reaction, the beast cooperates for an hour – no longer – and then vanishes. An beast's opinion may be swayed with appropriate enticements, assuming a wizard can figure out what that beast might desire.

Duration: One hour. May not be maintained.
Cost: 1 point per 10 character points used to build the beast.
Minimum energy cost is 3 (although this will not always summon a 30-
point being).
To summon many animals, double the cost of the spell.
Time to cast: 30 seconds. The beast may take up to 2d minutes to appear.
Prerequisites: Magery 1 and either at least one spell from each of 8 different colleges or four spells from Animal Spells and Beast Link.

Item
Staff, wand, or jewelry decorated with animalistic images.
Cost to create: 600 energy for an item that summons one particular species, or 1,200
for an item that can summon any beast.
