Tells the caster the direction and approximate distance of the nearest significant amount of any one type of earth, metal, or stone. Use the long-distance modifiers. Any known sources of that material may be excluded if the caster specifically mentions them before beginning.

A forked stick with an ounce of the desired earth/stone/metal set in the tip;
each stick will find only that one kind of earth.
