Cold
Make a HT, or HT based Survival (Arctic) roll (whichever is better), every 30 minutes in "normal" freezing weather (see Modifiers Table below).
Wind can cause these rolls to occur sooner, and often add negative modifiers.
Failure costs 1 FP, as usual, when below 0 FP you start to lose 1 HP per FP.
- Recovery requires adequate shelter and a heat source.
Thermal Shock (Hypothermia)
Sudden immersion in icy waters, or sudden extremely cold air can cause death.
Make the HT roll once per minute of immersion (do not modify this for clothing)
On success you lose 1 FP
On fail you lose FP equal to the margin of failure.
Don’t forget to check for drowning as well!
