Incapacitating Conditions
All of these Afflictions prevent you from taking voluntary action for their duration.
In addition, you are effectively stunned (-4 to Defenses).
In Combat you must do nothing, with some afflictions allowing/causing you to drop and others allowing you to stagger (drop, change facing, step or crawl one yard).
In most cases you get a health roll to resist.
Agony
Conscious but in such terrible pain that you do nothing but moan or scream.
If standing or sitting you fall down.
While the affliction endures you lose 1 FP per minute.
Anyone who can credibly threaten you with the return of the Agony gets +3 to Interrogation and Intimidation.
Low Pain Threshold doubles FP loss and torture bonus, while High lets you overcome the agony enough to function, but at -3 to DEX and IQ.
Choking
Unable to breathe or speak. You may do nothing but drop.
While choking you suffer the effects of suffocation.
Daze
You can do nothing, if you are struck, slapped, or shaken you recover on your next turn.
Ecstasy
Treat as Agony, but neither Low, nor High Pain Threshold has any effect.
Someone offering to continue the pleasure gets +3 to Influence rolls.
If you have Killjoy you are immune.
Hallucinating
You can try to act, but must roll against Will before each success roll.
On success you suffer 2d seconds of disorientation (-2 on success rolls).
On failure you actually hallucinate for 1d minutes (-5 on success rolls).
On a critical failure you freak out for 3d minutes (the GM rolls 3d the higher the roll, the more dangerous your action).
Paralysis
You cannot move (or talk), remaining conscious, but can still use advantages or spells that do not require speech or movement.
Retching
Vomiting, you can try to act, but will be at -5 to DX, IQ, and Per, and auto fail any action that requires the Concentrate maneuver.
At the end of your time Retching, you lose 1 FP, and gain no benefit from recent meals.
Seizure
Fall down, cannot speak or think clearly. You can do nothing, and at the end of your seizure you lose 1d FP.
Unconscious
You are knocked out, just like that.
